Self Love is the most important love of your life. The relationship that is forever.
Self love is accepting yourself and your emotions. Self love is making your physical, mental, and emotional needs a priority.
Developing self love does not mean you have to have it all figured out and never have shit days or experience doubt, insecurity, or negative thoughts. It means alongside those feelings (which make you human) you practice the following things:
- acknowledge your feelings
- prioritize yourself
- trust yourself
- establish healthy boundaries
And when you F it all up… give yourself grace. There is nothing selfish about self-love… self-love motivates you to make healthy choices physically and mentally and when you practice self-love over & over again, your capacity to love another grows and grows.
