“One day, I took charge of what I wanted my life to look like. Reframing what felt like an identity crisis into more of an intention to intelligently explore & embrace change to build a life I was in love with!”
Hey there!
Meet Mrs. B.
My entire professional career was in the Corporate World. As a Human Resources professional; a dress and heels, corporate meetings, travel, and conference calls were my norm. Until, divorce, a company closure, and a new marriage changed it all.
I stopped interviewing, swapped my stilettos for casual attire, moved into a new home with five kids (2 mine and three new bonus kids), and joined my new husband in running his business. Initially, it was blissful and new, but soon I felt unfulfilled.
I was out of my comfort zone and didn’t know what to do with myself. I was blissfully married, volunteering, attending everything I used to miss for the kids, but something was missing.
I thought I was having an IDENTITY CRISIS! That identity crisis, combined with the sudden loss of my mother, set me into a tailspin that lasted two years.
Until one day, I took charge of what I wanted my life to look like. Reframing what felt like an identity crisis into more of an intention to intelligently explore & embrace change to build a life I was in love with!
Through my exploration, With Mrs. B was born. I am sharing and influencing in a way that inspires you to “Choose Joy” and empowers you to “Do Hard Things!” I am thrilled to have just published my first book, Note to Self, and I cannot wait to have you join me as I continue a journey of inward exploration and growth.
I reside in Dexter, Michigan, with Mr. B. and our black lab, Piper. Our blended brood of kids are all officially adults and off learning the stuff of the world and, I hope… building lives they love!
