I missed you! Friday is the day I try to send something inspirational to your inbox. The past couple Fridays… to be honest I was just trying to be present… be a mama…. and practice all of the intention I could! So, now I am able to sit back and finally share some thoughts… on a Saturday!
Practicing Intention: When I launched Mrs. B. in August of 2020, I made a commitment to share my journey. The journey of “building a life I love”… all while navigating a super crazy and sometimes upside down life. This month, there was a lot was happening emotionally. And so, early on I made an intentional decision to be present and reflect instead of always being connected & working. I placed focus on the experiences and the emotions. Too much was happening to not to be fully present. All the physical changes and all the stuff going on in my heart.
While navigating “Operation: Move Your Girl To Cali” which was perfect, crazy, and a massive tug at my mama heart… we also marked the three year anniversary of losing my mama, the one year anniversary of launching With Mrs. B. and an unexpected trip to Colorado to move my oldest back home. So much! At the end of each day, I practiced a quiet reflection on all that was happening around me. I was shocked (and frankly so proud) at how this mama who suffers from extreme anxiety was able to be grounded, grateful, & mentally prepared for the next day.
